She was director of CPF - Centro Português de Fotografia / Ministério da Cultura (1997-2005); Deputy director and curator of exhibitions at Encontros de Fotografia de Coimbra (1991-1996); Director of the Photography Course at Cooperativa de Ensino Superior Árvore, Porto (1985-1990).
Photography and Media teacher at Escola Secundária Augusto Gomes, Matosinhos (1994-1997); Photography teacher at Cooperativa de Ensino Superior Árvore II (1985-1989) and Course Director (1986-1989); 
Commissioner of photographic projects (for the Secretary of State for Culture (1991 and 1992); for Porto City Council (1990 and 1994); for the Porto Museum of Transport and Communications (1995); for the Serralves Foundation (1995); for Matosinhos City Council (1996); for the Cinemateca Portuguesa (1996); for the Camões Institute (1996).
