Photographer, lecturer at the Higher School of Media, Arts and Design (ESMAD/Porto) and researcher at the Institute for Research in Design, Media and Culture (ID+) at the University of Aveiro.
As an author, he is interested in issues of territory in the place/non-place relationship, its transformation and sustainability. He investigates photography as an intimate gesture and an ideological device, exploring the relationship between memory and historical narrative.
His work has been published nationally and internationally.
