He is a visual artist, curator and teacher, widely recognized for his work in photography, video, installation and new media, exploring themes such as identity, memory and the relationship between the body and space. His artistic practice often investigates issues related to perception, everyday life and personal and collective history.
She received her PhD in Contemporary Art from the College of Arts of the University of Coimbra in 2014. In the 1980s, he studied Literature at the University of Coimbra, and in the 1990s, he dedicated himself to Arts Management Studies in Macau, where he worked and lived for some years.
He is currently an Assistant Professor in the Department of Architecture and the College of Arts at the University of Coimbra, where he coordinates the Master's Degree in Curatorial Studies.
